Turkey has lifted restrictions on Twitter access for its citizens, hours after President Tayyip Erdogan ordered a social media ban.
The move follows Twitter’s compliance with Turkey’s request to remove images of prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz, who died last week in a shootout between police and militants from the far-left Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C).
